Wallets watched
0
Saved by someone, and therefore ingested
Prism ingests transfers for the addresses people save and no others. That keeps the provider bill proportional to what anyone is actually watching, and it means this feed is a record rather than a firehose.

The worker checks every five minutes
Nothing here yet, because nobody is watching a wallet. Save one and the worker starts pulling its transfers on the next cycle, which is at most five minutes away.
A rule can watch for a single transfer above a figure you choose, or for value moving to an address the wallet has never used before. Both read this record rather than making a fresh provider call, so the cost does not grow with the number of rules.
